Alleghany Highlands Public Schools is proud to recognize its school leaders during Virginia Principals Appreciation Week, Jan. 12-16, honoring the dedication, leadership, and commitment of principals who serve students, staff, and families across the division. 

LOW MOOR — Alleghany Highlands Public Schools will host kindergarten orientation events at its elementary schools on Thursday, Feb.19, to begin registering students for the 2026-27 school year. 

COVINGTON — Alleghany High School is calling on the community to help support the Class of 2026 as scholarship season begins, offering local residents, businesses and organizations a chance to invest in graduating seniors’ future education and career plans.
