Alleghany High School

Jackson River Technical Center student Marissa Nicely earned national recognition after receiving a silver medal in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Leadership Conference Culinary Arts Competition. 

A group of Alleghany High School students is helping create a lasting connection between younger students and the outdoors through a community garden project at Sharon Elementary School. 

Leaders from Alleghany Highlands Public Schools recently joined educators, law enforcement officials, emergency responders, and community partners from across Virginia for a conference focused on strengthening student success through school safety.
